Abaku Services

Support for Schools, Teachers, and Education Authorities

Introducing new teaching methods can be a challenge. Abaku makes this process easier for schools – we offer accredited seminars, webinars, and long-term projects that help teachers implement the Abaku method simply, effectively, and with immediate results.

Our services cover everything – from the first introduction to hands-on classroom support and team guidance.

Our goal is to make mathematics meaningful, enjoyable, and visibly effective – for both students and their teachers.

What We Offer

Seminars and Webinars

Practical demonstrations, methodological guidance, and real classroom inspiration. All seminars are accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education (MSMT-21190/2022-4-763) and are suitable for individual teachers, school teams, and regional education projects.

Types of Seminars:

  • Introductory Seminar (4 h): Introduction to the Abaku method, working with materials, and first activities.
  • Basic Seminar (4 h): Strengthening core principles and expanding to more advanced methods.
  • Full Seminar (12 h): Comprehensive program – Introductory + Advanced Methods + Abaku PLAY.
  • Abaku PLAY Seminar (4 h): Hands-on training with the Abaku PLAY web application for in-person and distance learning.

Abaku Webinars:

  • General Overview: Principles, tools, and classroom or online applications.
  • Abaku PLAY App: Assigning tasks, managing accounts, and using the online game room.
  • Free Monthly Session: Open Q&A meeting (first Monday of each month, 18:00–19:00).

Through Abaku seminars, teachers can implement the method easily and achieve lasting results.

Individual Mentoring

For teachers who want to go deeper or need personalized guidance. We help with lesson planning, classroom integration, use of materials, and assessment of student progress. Mentoring is available online or directly in your school.

Projects for MAP, MAS, and Local Authorities

The most common form of collaboration includes two accredited seminars for teachers (Grades 1–9), a starter kit of Abaku tools, and access to Abaku PLAY.

Example Project Outline:

  1. Project Announcement – MAP/MAS invites schools to participate.
  2. Introductory Seminar – practical workshop (from 1 p.m.), core principles and materials.
  3. Starter Kit – full set of tools for the classroom.
  4. Follow-up Seminar (after approx. 2 months) – work with Abaku PLAY, classroom and remote applications.
  5. Certificate of Completion – official MŠMT accreditation.

Maximum participants: 30 teachers. These projects help schools unify their approach to mathematics and develop student skills through a modern, playful method.
