A calculator in a mobile phone belongs in math class. In arithmetic, it can be a great tool for a teacher to independently validate students' results and to use it in many aspects of teaching mathematics. Do we know how to use it? Mac Apple Calculator

In the Calculator app, you can perform basic arithmetic calculations on a standard calculator or switch to a scientific calculator with exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. You will find more advanced options here, such as cosine (cos), tangent (tan), square root (√), natural logarithm (ln), and a pseudorandom number generator (Rand), which are most useful for science, engineering, and advanced mathematics.

Can't type? Ask Siri (it will calculate based on your voice command)! Say something like: "What is 74 times 9?" or "What is 18 percent of 225?" and you'll hear the result.

Basic: Allows you to perform simple arithmetic operations.
Scientific: Rotate your iPhone to landscape orientation and the calculator automatically switches to a scientific calculator. It allows you to use memory functions and perform more advanced calculations involving fractions, powers, roots, exponents, logarithms, trigonometric functions, and other functions such as a pseudorandom number generator (Rand).
Programmer: Allows you to perform calculations in binary, octal, decimal, or hexadecimal number systems, including bitwise operations. You can also display ASCII and Unicode characters represented by the current value.

Tips:

Copying the calculation result: Press and hold your finger on the calculation result on the display, tap Copy, and then paste the result somewhere else, such as in a note or message.
Deleting the last digit: If you make a mistake when entering a number, swipe at the top of the display to the left or right.
Deleting numbers on the display: Click the C (Clear) button to delete the last item. Click the AC (All Clear) button to delete all items.

Think about how you use the buttons. When using the Calculator, most of you would enter a number, press a symbol, enter more numbers, press another symbol, etc. But that's not the only way to do it. Let's say you want to convert % to decimal form. You would usually enter a number and then press the % key. However, you can first click and hold the % key, then enter a number and release the % key to achieve the same result. Try this with other buttons and symbols and you may find that it's faster in some cases.
